Pumping Station

All owners and tenants should be aware that all foul water drains in Foxon Close do not drain directly to the mains sewerage system. They are connected via a pumping station located towards the side of no 14. This pumping station is (from October 2016) operated and maintained by Thames Water. Here is where all the waste runs into a chamber before being pumped to the mains.

All surface water drains into eight soakaways three situated in the road and a further one positioned on the communal lawn all of which are the responsibility of the management company.
The remaining four are situated in the rear gardens of houses 5, 8, 14, 15 and each property is jointly liable for the drain and soakaway into which their surface water flows. They are not the responsibility of Thames Water.

If the pumping station telemetry alarm is triggered, a blockage has been caused by flushed wipes and nappies. Please help us keep the pump running by avoiding doing this. If assistance is needed then please call Thames Water on 08000 093979
